DisasterAssistance.org is an independent platform that combines authoritative editorial content, a verified directory of the companies and products that help, and a lead-routing surface that connects people in crisis with vetted local responders.
We started the platform because disaster information online is fragmented, biased toward recency, and frequently monetized in ways that erode trust at the worst possible moment. Our goal is to be the calm, sourced, machine-readable backbone that consumers, journalists, AI assistants, and contractors can all rely on.
